Misfits Market

Misfits Market

We recently signed up for Misfits Market. I don’t know why it took me so long to get on the bandwagon (well, to be fair, I didn’t know about it before, at least that it was offered where we live)!

If you’re not familiar with Misfits Market, it’s a weekly subscription service for mostly produce, all organic – whatever is seasonal.

I love the opportunity to try some produce that is hard to find locally!

Our first box!
They come with cooler packs to keep the produce fresh
Some of the bounty – acorn squash, turnips, rutabaga, napa cabbage, white onions, red delicious apples & celery root

I have been wanting to try celery root, so that is fun & we made some rutabaga fries last night that were really good.

Almond butter (an optional add in), broccoli, celery, golden raisins (optional), green peppers, frisee, radicchio, pears & romanesco

You can choose different subscription options – for fewer people in your household, or more people and also you can receive boxes weekly or biweekly.

Then you can choose within the box, to pick your favorite produce from the available options.

Every week there are other “deals” you can add to your box, like a bag of golden raisins, or plantain chips.

We have been pleased with it so far & I wanted to share!

If you use the following code, you can get 25% off your first order! (We get 25% off ours, too, so thank you for using our link!) 😊

What we got in our 2nd box! (Plus the sunchokes that were an optional add-on)

**Edited to add – our 2nd box came & had a few issues. The company was great to work with. I emailed them with pictures & they promptly gave me a refund!**
