We joined a group that does Homeschool Field Trips monthly & toured the Joseph Glidden Homestead & Barbed Wire Museum in DeKalb. It was a well-preserved house from 1860 & fascinating information about his Barbed wire patent. I had jo idea how many different styles

The curriculum we have been using for Math & Language has the answer keys at the back of the workbooks. Naturally, I tore them out & they are 3-hole punched, so I originally put them all into a 3-ring binder with dividers between each subject.

We joined a group of homeschoolers & went to the WWII Days at Midway Village on Friday. The weather was beautiful & we had a great day. I was struck by how neat it was to have so much genuine WWII equipment – the tents,
