Weekly Gratitude Post 3/29/21

I am thankful that I live in a time that has electricity that can wash our clothes, wash our dishes, cook our food and much more. We have the info we need to perform delicate surgery.

But our country has become lazy! We work 8 hours a day and still say we don’t have enough time to do what we want to do!!!  Men and women in the Old Testament worked at least 12 hours a day; many times it was more like 14 or 16 hours. And we aren’t talking about checking people out of Wal-Mart or taking orders at Chick-fil-A. We are talking a horse and plow from run-up till sundown. Or washing clothes by hand for 6 people, not to mention baking often without sugar!!

I mean how spoiled are we????? We eat more sugar in 10 years than they did in a lifetime provided they made it past 60!

All that to say, God Bless America and 2021. May His will be done in this troubled time!!!!
