Little Miss is 4! Time flies so fast! β€ She is such a joy, full of personality. She loves to sing & dance, color, play games, do puzzles, & spend time with her family.
I wanted to share the story behind Ellenor’s nameβ¦
All of our kids are named after family members, so of course we had to follow tradition. π
However, for the first time ever, we tweaked the baby’s name after she was born – you know how people say that sometimes you just feel like a name fits a baby?
So, Ellen Grace (the name we had chosen & called her for several months before she was born & named her at birth) was changed to Ellenor Grace. All of her siblings voted & most agreed that they preferred Ellenor. (She does have many nicknames & we call her Ellen or Ellie or Ellenor.)
Keeping the traditional spelling of Ellen in her name was important to me because she is named after my Grandma Lynn (who passed away a few months before Ellie was born)’s Grandmother Ellen – born in 1857. My Grandma Lynn’s Grandmother Ellen lived with them while she (Lynn) was growing up. And something that makes it very special to me is that Ellen was also an 8th child – how neat is that? (Ellen is also my Aunt’s middle name & Grace is also one of her cousin’s middle name!) ππ₯°
