Frugal Tip – Bee Sting Ease

With Spring coming up, I wanted to share something we learned last year. Did you know that the main ingredient in Bee Sting Ease is Anbesol (also known as Orajel or oral analgesic gel)?

One of our kids got stung at the Renaissance Faire a couple years ago & at the First Aid station they gave us a Bee Sting Ease thing. We had never used them before, but it really did help, so we decided to research & buy some to keep on hand.

As we were researching it, we discovered that the main ingredient is just Anbesol, a numbing agent often used for canker sores, teething, etc… So, we bought a bunch of these inexpensive tubes on Amazon & keep one in each bathroom & in each vehicle. It does help after bee & wasp stings & was a fraction of the price!
