Making Bone Broth
Sometimes it’s the little things that make me feel good about being a Mom. 🙂 Last week we were hit hard with some nasty virus & I felt it was time for some restorative bone broth.
Instant pot to the rescue! Grant loves the rotisserie chickens at Costco & I always save the bones to make broth or stock with. It took 2 hours on high in the instant pot (along with an onion, garlic, carrots & some herbs) & voila!
One teen thought it was delicious, the other not so much, but oh well. And then we made homemade chicken noodle soup with the rest.
It was super simple, but made me feel accomplished, knowing I was making something nutritious for my family. I’m thankful for the internet to easily find recipes & my instant pot to make something take a fraction of the time & very little work.
Here is the recipe I used: Instant Pot Chicken Bone Broth.
