Kid Dates

We try to go on dates with our kids frequently (the goal is twice a month, so each child gets to have a date every 2-3 months. Sometimes we make it more frequently & other times, if we are busy, it’s less often, but that’s my goal. It’s important to have time with each child individually or at least 2 at a time… I have a list to keep track & try to make it as “fair” as possible. 🙂 Of course, this is not the only time I spend with them. 🙂 I also take turns taking a couple kids shopping, running errands, etc and kids get special birthday dates.

One of our favorite places to go is Dippys in downtown Polo (used to be the Polo Sub stop) . Family owned & operated. They have lots of yummy food & ice cream options & games to play…

Xanna & I tried a new restaurant a couple weeks ago – a friend recommended a diner in Dixon called Flynnies…it was awesome! We can’t wait to go back & take others! It’s a family friendly atmosphere, great menu, lots of options. What a treasure we never knew was there!! Worth checking out if you’re looking to try something new!
