Little “BIG” Helpers

It was such a gift to have a day at home yesterday in the midst of a crazy busy week and in the middle of an insane month. I’m so grateful. All the olders were gone & the youngers worked with me on cleaning, packing, picking up, laundry, dishes, etc…I’m always amazed at how hard children work….especially when working side by side. It’s a good reminder for me of how capable they are. We usually try to assign a task to the youngest capable person, but I know that it is easy for us to rely on older ones who are capable and dependable, but we also do not want to overburden them with tasks that younger ones can do.
