Lizzy recently turned 17! She now has her driver’s license & it has been a blessing to have an extra driver! She is a gracious older sibling, often leading & helping her younger siblings with school, working together on the garden & outside chores, taking them to shooting sports when we’re unavailable, etc.
She loves to cook & makes dinner several times a week. She enjoys reading aloud & has read many books to her siblings – currently she’s working on The Lord of The Rings! (I had read The Hobbit aloud years ago, but I don’t share my kids’ passion for The Lord of The Rings & had never read them. It’s fun to see & hear them enjoying the books together! ❤)
We are so grateful for you, Lizzy & the blessing you are to our family. We appreciate your blessing us as you learn how to run your own house someday & homeschool your own kids. 😻
In her free time, she loves to hang out with family, read, draw, play with her kitten & the cats.

Her favorite cake is caramel pound cake & we hadn’t had it in a couple years. Ellie gave her this “note” & then “helped” her open the rest of her 🎁 presents. Thanks Opa & Oma! Lizzy (& the others) are excited! We haven’t done these in years!
