December 2023 Family Funnies

Logan was driving in Rockford & I told him to turn left on Mulford.

He says, “Who is Mull? I don’t know, but he “Foured it!” 😅🤣

On our way home from a long day at our homeschool co-op, Ellie yawns.

Me: “Are you going to be able to stay awake on the drive home, Ellie?”

Ellie: “I don’t know! It would be really nice if they kept me awake with 99 bottles of root beer on the wall! PLEEEEEASE!!” ❤️ (Grant & Logan and some others had sung the whole song on our way to the hotel from the Ark a few weeks ago, trying to keep her awake).

“Look at me, Mom! I’m double-glassed!” 🤣

Not really a “funny”, but special & worth remembering:

We opened our stockings on Christmas Eve & we had put a lot of misc food treats we don’t normally have on hand, special treats. Ellie walks into the kitchen with her arms full of her treats & says, with a huge smile, “You have made your children very happy! I am SO blessed!” ❤️

It never fails to touch me to see the contentment & pleasure in the small things. And so grateful to see a little rubbing off.. 😍

We’re watching a movie together & Ellie says, “He has HUGE teeth! He’s so adorable!” 😳😅
