Enjoying Christmas Decorations

*The cover picture is a ceramic nativity set that was my Grandma Connie’s (My Dad’s Mom). It’s on a hutch that also was hers. I have a special place in my heart for things I’ve inherited from family members. Not sure if it has something to do with growing up overseas, missing out on a lot….*
We keep hearing & seeing everyone talking down their Christmas decorations right away after Christmas. It is interesting how everyone has different traditions & preferences.

We keep our Christmas decorations up until the end of January, or February 1st. We just love & enjoy them so much we finally decided on that. I can’t remember exactly when this became a tradition for us, but it’s been many years.

I have a friend who keeps up a small “seasonal” tree that she decorates for each season, special occasions, etc, which I think is a fabulous idea. Maybe an idea for someday. 😊
When do you take your decorations down?
