February/March 2024 Family Funnies

We’re driving home after a long day of being gone. Ellie says to me, “You’re the ‘blessed‘ one ever! You have been blessed with 8 children!”

Not so much funny, but very sweet & yes, I’m very blessed indeed. 💕💖🤩

We pulled a bunch of folding chairs out of the crawl space. Ellie gets excited & says, “I know! We can send out fireflies to all the people we know & invite them to come watch us & they can sit on these chairs as an audience!” (I think she meant fliers) 🤣😆

We had gotten a cow heart out of the freezer to give Eowyn. Logan expressed interest in seeing it (he’s currently in Anatomy & Physiology). I told him he could look at it or dissect it if he wanted.

After he was done, I said, “Was it eye opening at least?”

Lucas pipes in with, “I’d say it was more heart opening!” 😅

Ellie: “Despicable….um depicable…..applicable…

Me; “What are you saying?”

Ellie: “….impeccable timing!” 😀😅🤣

Me: “Where did you hear that?

Ellie: “The lion movie!” 🦁 😆

Ellie was filling a jug of water out of our new reverse osmosis water spout. As the jug filled, the direction the water came from/to changed & she had to move the jug. She says, “it was sprogging!”🤣
