Field Trip Feb 2023

We joined a group that does Homeschool Field Trips monthly & toured the Joseph Glidden Homestead & Barbed Wire Museum in DeKalb.

It was a well-preserved house from 1860 & fascinating information about his Barbed wire patent. I had jo idea how many different styles of Barbed wire there are or how many people initially made it!!

We separated into 2 groups, so I didn’t get any pictures of the older kids! Oh well!

Playing with some wooden tops with new friends. Emma on the left with the pink flower dress & Ellie in the middle.
