Home Test Day
What my day looks like:
Working on a couple home tests I needed to finish up – one is a breath test I have to do every 20 minutes for 3 hours (after drinking some 😫 drink) & one is a spit test (ever had to collect 5ml of spit in a tube? It surprisingly wasn’t as hard as I expected, but I do drink a lot of water.)
One of the tests required a 2 day BLAND diet of pretty much plain white rice & eggs.) And then fasting for over 15 hours. No butter or oil & only salt….it was rough, but I’m so thankful it was only 2 days! :I’m REALLY looking forward to lunch!!! 😁
The other test requires no eating an hour before each test that I have spaced out throughout the day (4 times). It pretty much used all my brain cells to lay out a perfectly timed plan for today. 😂
I am VERY thankful for the ability to do these tests at home! What a blessing!!
I had 2 more tests to do, but with it being Thanksgiving week, plus a lot of other factors (including the fact that they are the ones not covered at all by insurance so we’re looking at over $700!), we chose to wait on them. We’ll get the other stuff going first & go from there. 🙂
I have so much to be thankful for! This is not a complaining post, but a post of gratitude! <3 I can even be thankful for the gross food I ate the past 2 days & how much worse that made me feel, because I am SO looking forward to lunch!!
Uh oh😑
It’s not a bad picture! And it was a blessing to me! <3 :)
