IL Concealed Carry Class

Wow. My mind is reeling. We just sat through 4 hours of a Concealed Carry Class (It is a 16 hour class). The laws, legalities and amendments that are redundant & just more hoop jumping. It’s honestly terrifying & some really weird, poorly written laws…

Example: The IL State law states that an emergency responder can take possession of your handgun….so in theory — an 18 year old EMT can take my handgun, even though legally they can’t even own a handgun until they are 21 (in violation of Federal firearms laws). ??? And even further, they or policemen can/have to judge my mental state if they pull me over & can decide at that moment to disarm me….

Illinois. Congratulations. My brain hurts.

I just don’t have the words. And now you probably are as confused or more than I am. Lol

Update: *My mind was racing all night & wouldn’t shut off. Honestly, it felt like I had consumed several cups of coffee late at night. It reminds me of the time I first went to Chocoholic Frolic & lay in bed wondering why I couldn’t sleep – and then realized it was probably due to the 5 lbs of chocolate I had eaten. Haha*
