Ellie wears a hat 99% of the time these days, day & night (she dislikes having her hair in her face & doesn’t really care for hair ties, headbands, clips, etc), so this was a rare time that she asked me to do her hair. It lasted about 2 minutes. ๐ But oh, so cute! And getting a bit longer.Ellie loves this huge tiger & scarf Grandma gave us & plays with them a lot. Here she tied up the tiger & tied it to her waist. Oh, just a cat in the sink. Haha. Funny how our outside cats end up inside so much. ๐คทโโ๏ธ๐คฃXanna doesn’t take selfies very much, but this is a really good one! Of course, with our cat who thinks she’s a parrot perched on her shoulder Another beautiful Xanna selfie. ๐ ๐ Photo credit XannaThe kids made this huge 10 ft snowman with our very first snow in December. He lasted over a month!! It was so funny to watch him tip & then since it froze, & stayed cold, he stayed tipped sideways like this for several weeks!
They named him Alistair Coldhollow (from a favorite book series by Wayne Thomas Batson – the Myridian Constellation series) Logan & Lucas made a game called “Kitty-opoly”. Here is Lucas with the plan they drew up. (See next picture)Logan & Lucas finishing up their game they made up, Kitty-opoly. Each “property” is named after the cats & kittens we’ve had here the past 5 years. โค Ellenor “doing her Bible Study”. Love this so much!! โค ๐ ๐ Every month during the school year, we go to Christian Skate Night. This year Ellie has started joining in the races. It’s so cute! โค It takes her awhile, but she goes all the way around! Sweet of them to let her & everyone cheers her on.These pattern blocks were my family’s when I was growing up. I love seeing my kids play with them. โค Lucas & Emma made this “queen bee” ๐ Emma & Lucas by their queen beeLogan making his own design Logan’s turn for a date…we haven’t been to Flynnie’s since we started the diet! Fun to be able to take him there. We played battleship while waiting for our food.Logan can pack away some food! โค Playing chess in the car after we finished eating. Not a great picture, but I love what it represents… the kids laughing & singing & dancing. These are the memories they’ll cherish. ๐ฅฐLucas won the drawing at the Train Museum at Conover Square that he entered when we went there during the Candlelight Walk. He got his own electric train set! He was SO excited (he, of his own accord, wrote a thank you, “To Mr Train Men…” โค ๐งก Lucas set up his train set around the Christmas tree & made a tunnel for it ito
Such great pictures! Fun to see them. Thank you
Thanks! โค
