Me to Ellie: “Cutie pie!”

Ellie: “No, don’t call me that!”

Me: “Cutie patootie!! Is that better?”

Ellie, giggling…: “EWWWWW! YOU JUST SAID TOOT!” 🤣 “Please don’t ever call me that!”

Me: “That’s fair…”

We are watching a Christian comedian movie & laughing for about 10 minutes.

Ellie looks at me & says, “Why do they keep joking?” 🤣

😂🤣 “Well, babe, that’s what this show is all about!! ❤️”

Ellie wrinkled up her nose & says, “Eww! I don’t like this water! It’s all dried up!” 🤣 (I tried to explain to her that it had water in it, so it couldn’t be “dried up”… I think she was trying to say it was warm or stale.)

Ellie: “What is that?”

Me: “Salsa!” (It was a new avocado tomatillo salsa I had gotten from Costco)

Ellie: “Oh! It’s not really yucky. But it is spicy. But I do like it.”

Ellie’s response to being asked what she wants to be when she grows up: “A teenager!”

Ellie, all sprawled out in my chair, “Say please!”

Me: “Will you please move so I can sit down?”

Ellie: “As you wish, Ma’am!” 🤣
