Ellie: “Mama, how was your first night in um….’Mi..uh…in…tana’?, ‘Mun…Tina’s… where was it?” (We had been in Montana). 🤣
Keira was making some trail mix to take to our Homeschool Family Conference….Lizzy sends me this:
“Awlmonds. Awlmonds is what bwings us, togeva, today.
Nuts, the most meatiest of fwuits.
That fwuit wifin, a shell.”
Me: “Please dont forget you are bringing me something home from Mrs K….”
Child: “Got it…a djfhskshdh…”
Me: “Um, what?”
Child: “A conex? Or Konex?”
Me: “A SCOBY?”
Child: “Yeah, that.”

We were talking about gluten & dairy free food options & the “shelf life” of things such as twinkies…
Family Member #1: “What are DF twinkies made of?”
Several people chime in….”nuts & things like that” (because DF dairy options are often made from nuts or other plant based ingredients)
Family Member #2: “So that’s why you’re so nutty!” 🤣😅
On days that I’m home, I’m usually doing laundry & always set a timer so I can keep the loads going….
Once in awhile, the washer takes longer than expected…Ellie is my big helper & this day we got down to the laundry area & the washer had 2 minutes left….
Ellie “hugs” the washer & chants…
Ellie: “Go washer, go washer, go washer!”
