Emmalyn said, “My arms hurt last time we went dancing!”

Keira: “It’s your fault; you wanted to go dancing!”

Emmalyn: “I thought dancing was with your feet, not your hands!

We were playing Apples to Apples and Logan says, “Who is family”?

Lucas “me, me!”

Logan, in a low, dry tone, “We’re all family, kid.”

The older kids & I were getting ready to go to the annual homeschool conference. Ellenor was staying home with Grant this year.

Day before we leave, Ellenor wakes up & says to me, “You’re ‘abandaging’ me!”

I told her, “I’m not abandoning you! You’re not going to be alone! You’ll be with Dad! And, Mike, Lexa & Lucy will be there most of the time too!”

😞 Poor girl!

We were at the homeschool family conference & the boys enjoyed making a mixed concoction of the fountain drinks.

Logan made some for Lucas & himself. Lucas tried it & says, “Wow! That’s so good, it made my eyes hurt!! I mean, they’re watering!” 🤣

Ellie: “Do you want to hear the joke I made up last night?”

Me: “Sure!”

Ellie: “I don’t even know how to ‘pro-pounce’ it!” 🤣
