We have been wanting to take the kids on a day trip to a lake or beach (we haven’t been to one in about 15 years!) & when Lexa was unexpectedly off work this week, we decided to make it happen sooner than later. 😊 The weather was beautiful & we had a blast!
I’m thankful for opportunities like this to make memories. 💚 We are all super sore & various shades of red in spots where we missed sunblock, but we’re so glad we went!
The lifeguards took breaks every hour or so, so the kids took the opportunities to play in the sand. 😊
