Making God our Rock Part 2

I had a few more thoughts to share about this recent post. I appreciated the feedback & discussion.

I felt I should clarify, firstly, I do really enjoy listening to Christian music. I do it often. I know my children also love it and it’s a blessing to know that for the most part I don’t have to worry about what they are listening to. I really wasn’t trying to bash Christian music or the DJs or Christian music stations, etc….

I just think it’s so easy to get blasé and lazy in our focus and I really want to encourage us all to be intentional! Be intentional about making God your Rock. Look to Him first, not as a last resort.

Christian music is great, but use it as a helpful tool in your Christian arsenal, not THE only or primary tool. The Bible should be primary. Spend time with God. Listening to Christian radio should not take the place of your regular Bible time.
