Emma: “I just realized I forgot to actually add the coffee to my ‘coffee’…” (she made “coffee” with creamer 2 days in a row & forgot to actually add the coffee grounds the 2nd day. ) Hilarious & yes, it’s now safe to drink at 6pm! Haha

Lizzy showed Ellie Life 360 because she was asking where Grant and I were, and Ellie was waiting for some cream to dry.

She saw Lizzy’s picture and Lizzy said it was hers. Ellie said, “You’re the pinecone???” (her picture is a hedgehog)

One of the kids was singing around the house & sang, “You do the hokie – pookie…”

After the lawn was mowed for the first time this year, Ellie says to Lizzy, “The lawn mower was hungry!”

Me: “Ellie, can you please get me the powdered sugar?”

Ellie: “The what? Powdery sugar!? I don’t know what that is…can you point me in the direction of it?”

Me: “Look in the cupboard with the oats & sugar….there it is! With the clip on top”

Ellie: “Oh, I’ve seen this before. I’ve never heard it called that!”

On the way to the church for Lexa’s wedding we were talking & it had alreadybeen a long weekend & expectinga long day…

“Just smile and try to enjoy the day!”

Lexa: “My cheek muscles are going to get tired. I will rest them for now.”

Emma found a plate of cucumber in the island…..

Lizzy: “Ellenor…..did you put your cucumber in the Island????”

Ellie: “Yes!”
