I’m SO excited it’s done!!! 🙂

My sister gave me the fabric years ago because she knew how much I LOVE smiley faces (Thank you, Susie!!! I see this every day & smile!!) You can see my old sewing machine & cover in the background, my Mom made me the cover probably 19+ years ago!

I knew this was a fabric I wanted to see every day, so I set it aside for a sewing machine cover. It has been faithfully draped over my sewing machine ever since! Lol

Smiley faces make me happy. They make me smile. Therefore, I love to surround myself with them. It’s good self care. =)

This is the way of things, but I finally had a lazy day yesterday & made it a priority. It took me less than an hour (with MANY interruptions)! Super easy. I followed the pattern in this book: One Yard Wonders (One of my favorite sewing books – so many great patterns that use a yard or less of fabric! I have tons of fabric scraps, which makes the patterns practically free!
