November 2021 Family Funnies
I was leaning over in my chair to reach something & Ellenor about pushes me off the chair. I say, “Ellie, please don’t crowd me!”
“I’m not crowding you, I’m cute-e-ing you!” 🙄🤷♀️
The kids were watching a short movie about Hellen Keller one day for lunch & Lucas says, “That shouldn’t poison her, it just gives a radish!” “Oops, I mean a rash”
After I was gone all afternoon, I gave Ellie a big hug & said, “I missed you today!”
She hugs me back & said, “I missed me today, too!” 😅
Ellenor was using Keira’s too big roller skates around the house & fell (I did warn her many times…) She was crying & I offered her an ice pack & some cuddles. After about 2 minutes, she whimperingly says, “I’ll be fine, I can use my cane.” (We have a theracane, which is about her size & she loves to play with. That’s what she was referring to…although how she thought it would help her fingers, not sure…)
Ellie says to me, “I got some smiley facers! From your room!” (And yes, that is a pirate hand on her wrist)
Lucas was coughing during Bible time one day. A couple minutes later I noticed a tear & asked if he was ok. He said, yes, it was just from coughing.
Lizzy: “A real life cough drop!”
Ellie, getting out of the tub, “These things (her hands) are smooshy!”
Me, “Yes, your hands get pruney after being in the tub…it goes away!” 😀
“What? What happens to them?” 🤣
Ellie tripped over my feet & hit her head, right by her ear. 😞
I get her an ice pack & we’re cuddling. She says, sniffling, “My poor little ear!! It’s OK, I can do without it.” 😪💔
