It’s Fair Week! Our kids worked hard & got their projects done & we were very pleased with how they did! I tried to get pictures of the kids with all their projects, but this is not a complete list! There are several more that I will try to get soon. 😊
Xanna, Lizzy & Logan all earned spots at the State Fair with several projects!

She received the Grand Champion award & it’s eligible to go to State! Keira with her peanut butter cookiesKeira with her short story “Kally & Sally”Lizzy with her interior design project. She did some work in our sunroom, hemmed curtains that were too long, put up a curtain rod & a curtain on the door from the sunroom to the greenhouse. She also moved a couch downstairs & replaced it with a table to do puzzles & projects on. It looks great! Lizzy with her story that she wrote, “Cecil’s Story” (a prequel to the story she wrote for last year’s fair). She earned a spot as an Alternate to the State Fair (you can only take 1 project to State, so if you have multiple projects, you have to choose which one you want want take, so sometimes Alternates get to go to State.)Xanna with her beanie baby collection – Grand Champion! Keira with her Passport to the World project that she did on Australia. Lizzy with her cut comb – she earned Reserve Champion & can take it to State!Logan earned Grand Champion, Top of Class & is taking this project to State! It is in the Natural Resources division & he made a poster about Rock Wallabies & what a potential zoo habitat would look like for them. Very neat! (Logan loves animals & this project was right up his alley!)Logan made a trebuchet & it earned Grand Champion, Top of Class! (It’s a category that is not eligible to go to State)Keira with her skirt she made.Logan with his Model RocketLizzy with her Passport to the World project that she did on England. Oops I cut off her ribbons! She earned Reserve Grand Champion & is a State Delegate for it. Xanna with her Shopping in Style dress. She earned an Honorable Mention!
