Poirot & Belgian chocolates

I had planned our Gratitude post for today, but spent yesterday instead catching up with an old family friend & we enjoyed an evening of watching “Poirot” & eating Belgian chocolates. (since Poirot is Belgian) 🙂
Grant saw the box of Belgian chocolates last time we were at Costco & bought it for the kids. A fun way to enjoy some of our favorite movies. 😊
We are always looking for clean, family friendly movies (especially ones that are enjoyable for adults also!), so I wanted to share in case anyone else is interested. We love the David Suchet Poirot collection. (Based on Agatha Christie’s Belgian detective Hercule Poirot).

While we DO enjoy watching these, there is some mild language in a few, & in some of the later episodes there are a few things we don’t approve of. So, as always, use your own best judgment.
We really like IMDB’s “Parents Guide”. It does a good job of telling what is in each episode/movie. A few years ago I printed out the entire list of episodes & Grant and I watched the entire series & took notes on which episodes were clean enough for the whole family, or just older teens, etc.
Grant also bought a tin of Belgian chocolates for us to enjoy when we watch an episode. =) Fun!
