Pool time

We “inherited” a pool when we purchased this house. Funny, we didn’t even notice it the first time we looked at the house. And we never “wanted” a pool…we have never been much of pool people, most of our kids had never even taken swim lessons (a total God thing that we joined a gym & had the kids all learn how to swim the year before we moved!).

That being said, we LOVE our pool! One of those times that God has blessed us above & beyond our expectations, desires, etc. Yes, it’s a LOT of work, but a LOT of good also.

This summer we decided we needed to be more intentional about making time to swim & enjoy the time with our kids. So, several afternoons a week you’ll find us here…

And yes, sometimes it has this effect…

Sweet girl fell asleep during dinner. First time for her to fall asleep anywhere other than her bed (which has only been recently – another post for another day!), carseat, or a lap!!
