Samsung Dryer Issue

Last week when I went to empty the dryer, I was shocked by what I saw:

That is the metal drum inside our dryer, cracked & with a giant hole in it! The dryer is only 3 years old!

I called the local company we bought it from, but since it was past the 1 year warranty, they recommended we call Samsung to see if they would at least send a replacement part & they earned us we would probably have to cover the labor to have it installed.

We called Samsung & I was very pleasantly surprised that they immediately agreed to send someone out to replace the drum! They covered the parts & labor and even with the holiday weekend, we only had to wait 5 days. I was impressed! (Doing no laundry for 5 days is both a blessing & a burden as then it takes soo long to catch back up) 😀
