Starved Rock 2021 Part 1

We have a favorite “Aunt” (Grant’s Dad’s cousin) who lives about an hour away. She had suggested that we could meet at Starved Rock State Park sometime & I am always looking for fun day trips we can take. We had made these plans several weeks ago, on an available Monday (I usually work all day Mondays, but was able to get this week off. McKaylee usually had Mondays off, so that’s what worked best for her schedule).

When we scheduled it, I didn’t think about the fact that we’d be coming off an exhausting weekend right after the State Fair. I think we were not looking forward to it as much because we were exhausted, but I’m still glad we made it work. Fun memories. We brought Eowyn & Dottie brought her dog Boston, whom the kids love. ❤
