Weekly Gratitude Post 3/29/20
Very quickly last night “shelter in place” became “shelter in place in the basement” as several tornadoes passed over us. We have heard reports of some hitting within miles of us, but thankfully no injuries.
I am very grateful for a husband who is a vigilant protector & was watching the radar and listening to the weather radio most of the afternoon & evening and had us safely set up in the basement before the sirens even went off.
I am thankful for police officers, weather spotters, etc., who were also monitoring to help keep us safe. I’m thankful for God’s protection.
I’m thankful for comfortable beds already set up downstairs & plenty of couches for the kids to sleep on (& that Ellenor stayed asleep as we carried her down!)
So much to be thankful for! (Including today being a day that we can rest & take naps as no one slept very well except the youngest ones!) 😊
