Weekly Gratitude Post 5/10/20
Today is Mother’s Day. I am very thankful for my Mom, Mentor Moms I have had, and my wonderful 8 children who make me a Mother.
I am thankful for my Mom. She gives godly counsel. She listens & prays faithfully. I enjoy our weekly phone calls & texts in between. I am so thankful for the godly influence she is for myself & our girls, an example of a wise, godly Wife & Mother.
I am thankful for several older women who have taken me under their wing over the years & mentored me. It may not have looked like “traditional” mentoring, but they have given godly counsel, prayed for & with me and been good, wise, godly friends.
I am thankful for the opportunity to be a mother to our 8 children. It is an awe-inspiring undertaking and I feel unworthy often. I am thankful for God’s forgiveness & grace that covers a multitude of my sins & mistakes. I am thankful for the love, the laughter, the many good memories we have, that hopefully outweigh the bad! 😉
(Grant bought me the beautiful roses for Mother’s Day & Lexa arranged them in a heart with a yellow Daffodil in the center)
