“I am grateful for all the gifts I have been given by God.

I have the function of all my senses. I have the full use of my body. I have been given wonderful parents and a large family. I have the gift of an ok imagination that allows me to write books.

But the most important gift that I have been given by God is the gift so many people overlook. It is the gift of eternal life with him in heaven. The mere fact that he sent his son to die for us should be our alert signal. “Surely this man was and is the Son of God!” We need to acknowledge his sovreignty and also remember he is not only loving but he is also our judge. One day we will sit in the judgement seat and we had better pray that we weren’t just faking our faith because he can tell. He is all knowing.

So go forth ye Christian soldiers!!”
