What a Ride!

Our kids have been wanting a dog for about 16+ years. Long story short, we finally said it’s time to take the plunge & make it happen, hoping for the puppies to be an early Christmas present.

So we found one that seemed perfect, spent a lot of time communicating back & forth with the “seller” & making arrangements, since the puppy was supposedly in FL, so we were going to have him shipped. Went to Walmart & sent a MoneyGram.

Lo & behold, MoneyGram won’t release the funds to this person, which at first I was frustrated about, but now I can see it as God’s hand protecting us as we found out that they scammed us!!

So, so grateful to not have lost so much money, but we are all disappointed after getting our hopes up about the puppy we thought we were getting.

It’s been a crazy day! Back to square one & looking for some puppies. We’ll still make it happen, it will just take a bit longer & we’ll know a bit better now about making sure we research the sellers a bit better!

(We are looking to buy purebred, AKC registered Belgian Malinois puppies, hopefully one male & one female.)
