You’re Doing Well. Keep Up The Good Work

As I was pulling a load of clean laundry out of the dryer, I saw my husband’s dress shirt that he wears every Friday & was feeling proud of myself that it was only Tuesday & it was clean…3 whole days before it was needed!!! 😊

(We had had an occasion just a few weeks prior where he didn’t have any clean sweatshirts because they were all at the bottom of the laundry pile, so I have been trying to do better at staying on top of the never ending laundry.)

It doesn’t matter that the clean laundry basket was balancing on all the dirty laundry strewn in front of the washer. It doesn’t matter that I’m right now unloading the dryer because it has to be done first so I can dry the clean laundry that’s still in the washer from yesterday.

It’s ok to take pride in small accomplishments! Please do! Especially when they encourage you to keep moving forward towards the prize (Phil. 3:14, 1 Cor. 9:24). It’s ok to be proud of growth!

I just felt that someone needed to hear this today! Keep on keeping on! You are doing just fine. Don’t give up. Keep putting one foot in front of another! Be proud of the little accomplishments, as well as the big. Don’t stop striving to do better!!

(And NO, this is not an April Fool’s Joke!) Feel free to share if you know someone who needs to hear this!
