My birthday & Seeing Christmas Lights
My family knows how much I love smiley faces! They bring joy & smiles to my life. 😀 (Thank you Opa & Oma and Xanna!)
Xanna drew me this picture & left it in my chair to find in the morning. ❤ She’s so good at drawing!
Emma made a fruit salad for us for breakfast to go with the breakfast cake 😊

Lucas gave me a coupon for 2 hugs for my birthday! (Which apparently I’ve already used up!) 😅
Keira gave me the smiley face latchhook she had done! 😀

We went to Rockford in the afternoon/evening for our annual Christmas lights/chicken & fries tradition….we pick up a catering tray of chicken & fries from Chick Fil A and drive through the Festival of Lights at Sinissippi Park. Then we went to the Nicholas Conservatory (across the street) & walked through their lights display. We sang Christmas carols the while way home. Always a highlight of our year! ❤

We had to stop on the road for a gaggle of turkeys!! Lol. This is only a portion of them. There were at least 20 will turkeys!
