Madison Family Trip May 2022 Part 2
Funny story – when we arrived at our appointment to get military ID cards, I went in first to get us signed in while the kids gathered quiet things to do while waiting.
I walk up to the desk & explain we have an appointment to get new ID cards. The man behind the desk says, “You have A LOT of appointments! I’ve never seen so many dependent appointments!” 🤣
(They had blocked out 8 time slots for us, which was an ordeal in & of itself! We had to call several times to get that many appointments back to back. They never understand that it doesn’t take as long as they think & expect it to take longer….even with the first 45 minutes being spent on computer & printer errors, we were done in less than 2 hours!)
Part 2 – The arcade!
Normally when we take the family to Madison, we will also go to the zoo, but this year we decided to go to the arcade instead. We went once 4 years ago & everyone enjoyed it. It’s a neat arcade – you pay a flat fee to get in & can be there as many hours as you want, the wristband is good for the day. They have dozens of pinball machines (Willy Wonka, The Hobbit, to name a few), old Atari & Nintendo games, Star Wars simulation pods, racing games, shooting games, really something for everyone. Stools for the shorter kids. Pool tables, air hockey tables.
The dancing was a lot of fun. I took several short videos also, see below the dancing pictures…they all chose “Cotton-Eye Joe” as the song. 😀

Fun to see the pictures and videos. Thanks for sharing
