Making the Same Mistakes Over & Over

Ellenor, who is 19 months, has spent the past half hour or so climbing into my shower & closing the door (because that’s what she wants, is to play in there). She plays for a minute, then just fusses because she is trapped & can’t get out. I go get her & a couple minutes later, she’s trapped again, fussing. Over & over.

It just reminds me of us, with God. We make the same stupid, hurtful mistakes, over & over. We don’t listen to advice. We have to learn the hard way.

Just words to ponder. I don’t have any helpful insights to pontificate about right now. 😉
