Weekly Gratitude Post 5/29/23
Today’s Gratitude Post is brought to you by…
Me! 😀
I truly have so, so much to be thankful for. 😍
I’m grateful for God…I’m grateful for my relationship with Him & that He sustains & carries us through the Hard.
I’m grateful for my husband & the 24 years of marriage we’ve had. We just celebrated our 24th anniversary…almost a quarter of a century!!
I’m grateful for my 8 wonderful children & now sons-in-law as well! We are abundantly blessed!
I’m grateful that so many years ago, being young & inexperienced, we made the decision to homeschool. One of the best decisions we ever made!
I’m grateful for the ICHE Family Conference…for opportunities to fellowship with like-minded families…for new friends, fun experiences for the kids, for encouragement to continue on doing what’s important.
There has been a lot of death lately…my MIL passed last month, a friend’s husband a couple weeks ago, and now a beloved Aunt is in her past days. It’s draining, emotionally & physically. But I’m so very grateful for the opportunities to spend time with our loved ones. For each of the moments we’ve had. Yes, it hurts to say goodbye. But I wouldn’t trade the time for anything. I’m grateful for the opportunities to visit them in their last days. To sing & pray together, reminisce with friends & family.
I’m grateful for moments to get away & enjoy coffee or breakfast with a friend…to be able to laugh & cry & pray together & encourage one another. I’m grateful for being able to spend a day with my oldest & dearest friend a few weeks ago (I’ve only seen her 3 times in the past 25 years!)
