Life Update/A New Season Pt 2

Since the 4 school aged kids are now in school, I also took a part time job working in the cafeteria at the grade/middle school (where Emmalynn & Ellenor are)… I work 2-3 days a week & it’s a blessing to have the same schedule as the kids!! The ladies I work with are a blessing as well! I enjoy being known as “The Lunch Lady” 🤩 We NEVER do thimgs small…so, of course, we also joined the Boosters Club (Grant & I)- so we help at the concession stands during some home games/events. It’s been a great way to meet other families. I also enjoy seeing some of the kids (mainly the younger kiddos – their eyes are so expressive) recognize me outside of the cafeteria.
The older 3 kids are also doing sports – Keira is in volleyball and Lucas & Emmalynn are doing cross country. They have been enjoying it!!

I enjoyed going on a field trip with Ellie’s class last week – we went to the local retirement home & the kids each got to read a book that they brought to the residents. That’s special!! I also got to be a secret reader & read a book to her class… I loved that!! Her teacher has a really cool Smiley Face rug (you can see it in this next picture) & a super fun rocking chair that is painted to look like notebook paper (the seat) and pencils/crayons (the spindles) & it matches the colors of her rug. Such a fun space & her teacher is doing such fun things with them!!
