Bible Study Options

We use the YouVersion app a lot. In our family Bible time we go over the “verse of the day”, what it means to each of us, how we can apply it to our lives, etc. The app makes it easy to read a verse in different versions & compare.

I also like to do some of the Bible Plans YouVersion offers. There are plans on JOY, cheerfulness, grief, feeling overwhelmed, basically any topic you might be dealing with.

I have been a part of the Doorposts “Mama’s Refill” Bible Study group for many years. There are a lot of different Bible Studies offered on different topics & Bible passages. Some of my favorites have been in Psalms, Ephesians, Colossians, James & many more. I have done & enjoyed a lot. 🙂 She offers different levels of study options -you can go deeper as time & your preference allows. You can even do a study with a friend and discuss what you’re learning together. 🙂

While I don’t necessarily love spending MORE time on my phone, it can be a convenient way to study God’s Word. In the car, (if someone else is driving) 🙂 before I get out of bed, waiting at a Doctor’s appointment, etc…

During different seasons of life, Bible study has looked different for me. I encourage you to find something that works for you. It is worth making the time! 🙂

  • Bible study is a priority in our home!.There is no substitute for reading God’s Word. We use a yearly schedule and each year see something new from how the Holy Spirit teaches us.
