Frugal Tip – Making Your Own Leave-in Conditioner
A few years ago I went looking for my favorite leave-in conditioner at the store & they had stopped carrying it. I was sad! So I started researching it & discovered how easy it is to make your own!
Not only easy, but you can control the ingredients & it’s WAY less expensive!
I have saved old spray bottles to make more & just reuse them. If you don’t have any, you can buy any size spray bottle you want.
How to do it: Fill a spray bottle about 1/5 or 1/4 of the way with your favorite conditioner, fill the rest of the way with water. Put the lid on, shake & Voila! Easy peasy!
It does tend to separate, especially right after you make it, so I just get in the habit of shaking it right before using. 🙂
You can use the same method to make kids detangling spray.
Anyone else have frugal tips they want to share? Or something you’d like to hear about?
