Favorite Children’s Songs

Ellie’s 2 favorite children’s songs right now are “Ho Ho Ho Hosanna” & “A Great Gray Elephant.” Every time I put her to bed she demands we sing “Ho ho” & “Elephant”. She knows the words & sings along with me for most of it. It’s very sweet.

“Ho, Ho, Ho, Ho, Sa-a-nna

I’ve got the joy of the Lord!”

Interestingly, I’ve always sang it as saved ME, not saved Thee, but I guess both are good. 😊

I actually couldn’t find any information on this Elephant song online, except that it’s an old poem. I would be interested to know how many people know it? 😊

What are your favorite songs you sing to your kids & that they enjoy? We have gone through phases with all sorts of songs like “Jesus Loves Me,” “This Little Light of Mine” and other songs, but these 2 are probably my all time favorites & why they are Ellie’s also. 😊
