Real Life

Sometimes things come & a week doesn’t go as planned. This was one of those such weeks, where it’s just real life & you have to adapt.

We had 4 of us come down with some type of an influenza bug (not Covid, thankfully!) & on top of that, I personally have spent at least 60-80 hours on the kids’ 4H projects, helping to take pictures & videos, upload each one, helping them fill out their project reports for each project, converting documents to pdf so it could be uploaded, etc. Phew!

The good news is that we finished & submitted the projects yesterday at 5pm, with 7 hours to spare. 😊 We are relieved to have it done & excited to see the judging results in a couple weeks

So, as you can imagine, the house is a bit of a wreck, laundry & dishes are piled up. The boys have been troopers this week helping to play with Ellenor & keep her out of trouble. 🤪
