A Walk Around the Property

Lexa & I went on an adventure the other day, wading down at the creek (look for that post coming soon!), then took a walk around the property. It was so beautiful!

A view of the house from the bottom of the hill There are a lot of wildflowers in this field – there are several patches that we let grow & harvest as hay twice a summer. We saw a bunch of Monarch butterflies flying around here! I tried to get a picture or video, but they were soo fast!!

Some weird fungus or something on a tree that was down. I thought it was an interesting pattern

We call this “deer alley” because there are a lot of deer around there.

We call this the Avenue, on the homestretch coming back up to the house (apple treeline the right side, the pine forest is in the left)
