We love having our chickens & yes, that means fresh eggs. We haven’t bought eggs in a long time. We purchased chicks 2 years ago, & it took a full year to start getting eggs, but for the past year we’ve enjoyed collecting fresh eggs

There are not very many “fine dining” restaurants near us, so (especially for our anniversary) we enjoy experiencing different restaurant

Today was the judging for 4H sewing. Keira & Lizzy both made pillowcases. This is our first year of 4H & it has been such a learning curve with SOO much to learn. We look forward to starting sooner for next year & planning some

We are busy around here working on our 4H projects…sewing, baking, painting, writing. Chickens & rabbits & eggs, oh my!

We have had chickens for over 2 years, but this has been our first year to incubate eggs & hatch our own instead of purchasing them. It has been such a neat experience for our family & everyone is always excited by the new chickens.

Yesterday afternoon we took a much needed day of REST! We played games, laughed a lot & were so thankful for the time. Instead of playing a game all together, we spent the afternoon playing games with 1 or 2 kids at a time. Often
