January/February 2022 Family Pictures
Ellie brought her kitchen over by my rocking chair & asked me to make her some food…how could I say no? ❀ Then a few minutes later she turned it around & made me food. πŸ’œ (please ignore the chalk mess…her kitchen was right under the chalkboard…)
Lucas woke up at 5am one day…and promptly fell asleep during Bible time. 🧑 Lucas is notorious for being able to fall asleep any time we drive in the car…or apparently when rocking with Mama also πŸ₯°

Snow Day!! We finally had a day that was above zero & warm enough to enjoy the beautiful snow! 😍

Lucas is digging an igloo. Logan in the orange mask & Ellie on the right.
Saying hello to cute Ellie
Keira & Emma are in the middle, heading out to their fort, Logan coming up the hill & Ellie on the right near Alistair
Lucas in his igloo
Lucas in front of his igloo/tunnel. It goes all the way through!
Lucas loves making fries for lunch! ❀ I love encouraging my kids to experiment & cook in the kitchen!
Getting ready for naptime…she’s wearing some too small snowpants (no idea why… She loves to wear them around the house.) & reading books. You can’t really see it, but she has a whole stack of books “hidden” behind her pillow πŸ˜†πŸ€£ There’s barely room for her in her bed!
Lucas was helping Lexa clean out laptops & computers…not quite sure what the silly face was about. 🀣
Xanna is writing a book that I’m reading aloud to the rest of the family. The kids decided it would bring fun to make costumes & act out some of it. They’re making paper mache helmets here. 😊 πŸ’œ (Xanna was mixing up the paper mache & I sadly didn’t get a picture of her). I LOVE it when my kids work together & use they’re imagination like this.
Here are 4 of them with their helmets so far (not done yet…I’ll share more pictures next time)
Working on a fun volcano experiment
A friend was over & helped Lucas figure out how to mix it to make the “volcano” red
Ellie wearing my lion mask

I made this lion mask in high school (a 3-d Design class) & it was in my grandparents basement for over 20 years! I brought it home a few years ago when they passed. Probably didn’t need to be kept for 27 years, but, alas, it’s hard to throw it away after so long…haha.
“Lion” Ellie! πŸ˜πŸ˜…
