“I stuck! I bending myself!” 😂 (Ellenor flopped herself over the arm of the couch onto my lap)

Ellie says, “I playing Seek-a-Boo!” (Ellie’s favorite way to say “peekaboo”)

Grant & I brought home some granola bars from our stay at the hotel, it was part of our “bagged breakfast” that hotels are doing these days.

Emma & Keira were eating a couple of the bars & I explained that had been our breakfast, but since I couldn’t eat them, we brought them home for the kids.

Keira says, “I want to go there!”

I said, “Why?”

Keira: “It’s paradise!”

Lexa, with a handful of chocolate, says, “The Cardinal’s sacred snack chamber! I stole them from you last night because I was hungry!”

“Look at my ‘hair tail!'” (Ellie, trying to show off her hair tie/pony tail)

She had been awake the previous night for about 2 hours (1-3 am) & just going on & on about wanting a hair tie & a clip. Strange middle of the night toddler obsessions.

“Mama, I have 2 eyes left!”

Me: “Really? You used to have more eyes than that!” 😂

Lucas is known for eating strange food combinations. This week Keira had made some pumpkin pie & the kids had some for breakfast. They couldn’t find the cool whip, so Lucas decided to try sour cream on it.

The next day I found the cool whip & offered it to the kids. Lucas said he would just stick with the sour cream.

Me: “Really? You would choose sour cream over cool whip?” Well, as long as you’re enjoying it!! 😯
