July 2021 Family Funnies

We were all in the car & the car needed to be jumped (this has been happening repeatedly). I said, “Well, I guess we need to make an appt to take the car in & have it looked at.”

Emma says, “I didn’t know that cars needed a ‘car-o-practor!'”

I said to Ellie, “Are you being silly?”

She says. “Yes, but I hope I won’t be so silly anymore!”

Ellie & I were reading a book about animals and I told her that we had seen some penguins at the Shedd Aquarium when we were there a few weeks ago. She says, “We saw these at the ‘s-uh-quarium’?”

I had put Ellie to bed & she was fussing. Grant went in to talk to her & left the door cracked.

Pretty soon Ellie is calling again, “You didn’t close the door properly!!” Haha

Ellie had a bath & had wet hair. I asked her to go get a comb so I could help her with her hair.

She comes back & says, “I have the comber!” 😊

I tucked Ellie into bed & as I laid her down, she says, “Can you put my ‘leg sleeves’ down please?” (Pant legs, arm sleeves…makes sense!!)
