Weekly Gratitude Post 8/8/22

Today’s Gratitude Post is brought to you by…

Me! 😊

I am thankful for family time. This past week has been slower than the last few months, and I’m so grateful for the time to cuddle my “babies” (who are growing up WAY too fast!!) and spend time together.

I’m thankful for time to play games, do puzzles, go swimming, hang out at the Fairgrounds, etc…

I’m thankful for the 4H experience. It has added stress & busyness to our summers, especially, but there are so many benefits also, and it’s worth it. Every year we think we’ll plan better so the next year goes more smoothly…maybe this next year will be better? 😀 🤩

I’m thankful for the experience for my kids to win, lose, encourage & rejoice with others. So many good experiences & great conversations.

I’m thankful for my family…my husband who listens & encourages…I’m thankful for the life we live together. And grateful that the busy season isn’t permanent so we can enjoy more time together soon. ❤️

I’m thankful for my 8 wonderful children. Some of them are not children anymore…our oldest will be 22 soon! Where has the time gone?? 😭

I’m thankful for the time we have with them. It goes way too quickly. People tried to warn me about that decades ago & I was so overwhelmed with what was going on at the time to understand. I hope one day I’ll grasp the ability of making the most of each moment.

Dewdrop…several kids were fighting over her, so I took her & she circled a couple times then settled next to me. ❤️ 😻

I’m thankful for this kitten. Seems like a small thing…our pets. To some it’s huge, to others they don’t necessarily get it. And that’s ok.

I admit I haven’t always cared about having animals. But, seeing how much they mean to our kids, it makes a difference.

I’m grateful for the opportunities we’ve had the past 6ish years here, to have animals & nurture the love of them. Yes, this property is overwhelming. Yes, it feels like too much. But, the good that has come from it is appreciated and not lost.
