Ogle County 4-H Fair Poultry Show 2023

Lucas, Keira & Emmalyn all took chickens to the Fair & did well with them and had a lot of fun. 😀

A nice smile 😃 The stick (not pictured) & police hat were Grandpa’s from when he was a Military Police in the Army.
Emmalyn was Maid Marian & her chicken the Merry Hen. She made the bow & quiver 😀 Keira – wearing a “Farm Girl, Naturally Home Grown” shirt, with her chicken holding a sign that says “Egg Grown, Naturally Coop Grown”. Lucas was a cop & his chicken was a jailbird. He won the Costume Show. 😀

Lucas won the Hatched Pen class 😀 He does such a great job taking care of his baby chicks.
